Caramel Apple Pie

Ingredients
2 med Pie crust, standard-type, frozen, ready-to-bake, baked 6 med Apples, raw, with skin 3/4 cup Sugars, granulated 1/4 cup Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, bleached 1/4 tsp Salt, table 2 tbls Butter, with salt Diet
1/3 cup Toppings, butterscotch or caramel 4 tbls Nuts, pecans
Directions
1. Heat oven to 425F.
2. Combine apples, sugar, flour, and salt in a bowl. Lightly toss. Spoon apple mixture into the pie crust. Dot with butter. Top with the other crust and flute edges. Cut slits in several places.
3. Bake for 40 minutes, or until apples are tender. Remove pie from the oven and cool. Top with caramel and pecans. Serve.
