Apple Pie with Pecan Topping

Ingredients
6 cup Apples, raw, with skin 2 tbls Lime juice, raw 3/4 cup Sugars, granulated 1/4 cup Wheat flour, whole-grain 1/2 tsp Spices, cinnamon, ground 1/4 tsp Salt, table 2 med Pie crust, standard-type, frozen, ready-to-bake, baked 2 tbls Butter, with salt Diet
1/4 cup Butter, with salt Diet
1/2 cup Sugars, brown 2 tbls Cream, fluid, light whipping Diet
1/2 cup Nuts, pecans
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400F. In a large bowl, toss the apples with lime juice.
2. In another bowl, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Add to the apples and toss lightly.
3. Place bottom pastry in a pie plate. Fill with apple mixture. Dot with butter. Cover with top crust. Flute edges high. Cut steam vents.
4. Bake for about 40 minutes, or until golden brown and apples are tender.
5. Meanwhile, for topping, melt the butter in a small saucepan. Stir in the brown sugar and cream. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
6. Remove from the heat and stir in pecans. Pour over the top crust. Return to the oven for 5 minutes, or until bubbly. Cool before serving.
