Grilled Sirloin Steak

Ingredients
2 tbls Spices, pepper, black 1 1/2 lb Beef, top sirloin, separable lean and fat, trimmed to 1/8" fat, all grades, raw 1 tbls Butter, with salt Diet
1/4 cup Onions, raw 1/2 tsp Salt, table
Directions
1. Press coarse pepper into steak by hand and sprinkle with salt
2. Place in a bowl and let stand for 15 minutes.
3. Heat a stainless steel platter until very hot.
4. Melt butter on the platter. Add onions and mix well.
5. Broil steak in the oven to your favorite state of doneness, about 5 minutes per side for medium.
6. Suggested to serve with mashed potatoes.
