Wild Rice Stuffing

Ingredients
1/2 cup Wild rice, raw 1/4 cup Raisins, seedless 1 tbls Vegetable oil, canola 5 med Onions, spring or scallions (includes tops and bulb), raw 1/2 cup Celery, raw 1 cup Cranberries, raw 1 tbls Orange peel, raw 1/2 tsp Spices, thyme, ground
Directions
1. Put the wild rice in a saucepan.
2. Add 1 cup water and raisins. Cook over medium heat for 1 hour, or until the rice is tender. Drain.
3. In a skillet, heat oil. Add the onions and celery. Saute until tender.
4. Add the cranberries, orange rind, thyme, and rice. Mix thoroughly and serve warm.
