Apple Flan Pie

Ingredients
2 crust Pie crust, standard-type, frozen, ready-to-bake, baked 3 large Apples, Granny Smith 2 1/2 tbls Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, bleached 1/2 cup Sugars, granulated 1 tbls Water 1 tbls Sugars, granulated
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Place 1 pie shell in a greased flan pan. Place a layer of apples around the shell.
3. Mix flour and sugar and sprinkle over the apples.
4. Cover with second pie crust. Press edges together.
5. Mix water and remaining tablespoon of sugar. Brush top of pie crust with mixture to glaze. Bake for 40 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
