Stir Fried Broccoli with Red Onion

Ingredients

  • 2 tblsOil, olive, salad or cooking
  • 1 bunchBroccoli, raw
  • 1 medOnions, raw
  • 1 medPeppers, sweet, red, raw
  • 2 tblsBasil, fresh
  • 1 tblsSpices, oregano, ground

Directions

1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and broccoli. Toss to coat and cook until broccoli is bright green and heated through, 5 minutes or more.

2. Add onion slices and cook until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

3. Add red bell pepper and continue cooking until pepper is soft but still holds its shape, 2 minutes.

4. Sprinkle in basil and oregano. Stir and serve immediately.
